Bkav Remote Signing is Bkav's remote digital signature service in Vietnam: the signing key is held securely by the provider and you sign directly on your phone, with no USB token. Before first use you install the app and activate it - the whole process takes about 3-5 minutes.
Before you start
- 🔑 The username and password Bkav issued when you registered.
- 📞 A phone with your registered number to receive the SMS OTP.
- 🔒 Screen lock enabled on your phone (PIN, fingerprint or face) - used to confirm the activation steps.
- 📶 A stable internet connection (Wi-Fi or 4G/5G).

⬇️ Step 1: Install the Bkav Remote Signing app
- Open your app store: Open Google Play (Android) or the App Store (iPhone) and search for "Bkav Remote Signing".
- Install the right app: Choose the app with the Bkav icon and tap Install (Android) or Get (iPhone).
✅ Step 2: First-time activation (5 steps)
The app interface is in Vietnamese; button labels are shown in quotes with translations.
- Log in: Open the app, enter the username and password you were given, and tap "Đăng nhập" (Log in).
- Verify the OTP: An OTP is sent by SMS to your registered number. Enter it to confirm the login.
- Change your password: On first login, enter a new password, confirm it, and tap "Tạo mật khẩu" (Create password).
- Set up the root device: Tap "Xác thực" (Verify) to register this phone as the "Thiết bị gốc" (root device), then confirm with your phone's screen lock.
- Request your certificate: On the "Chứng thư số" (Digital certificate) screen, tap "Yêu cầu cấp chứng thư số" (Request certificate) and confirm with your screen lock. Review the signing details and tap "Xác nhận" (Confirm). The certificate is issued and its details are shown - activation complete.
🎉 Done! You can now use your phone to digitally sign e-invoices, tax returns, social insurance filings and e-contracts in software that supports Bkav Remote Signing.
⚠️ Security tips for remote signing
- ❌ Never share your username, password or OTP with anyone - including people claiming to be support staff.
- ✅ Choose a strong new password that you do not use elsewhere.
- ✅ Keep screen lock enabled on the phone set as your root device.
- ✅ Keep your registered number active for OTPs; if you change number or phone, contact Bkav support.
- ✅ Only download the app from the official Google Play or App Store.
